CA Wreckless Rascal

CA Wreckless Rascal (Josh) is a 15.3hh bay homozygous tobiano American Paint stallion, imported in February 2007 from North Carolina. He has a friendly and docile nature combined with correct conformation and an athletic build, which so far he's doing a great job of passing on to all his offspring along with the tobiano pattern that's guaranteed. There really aren't enough superlatives to use when talking about Josh and his temperament. He is so gentle, calm and kind and passes all of this onto his foals - even if he is trying to populate the world with clones of himself, he's so handsome that we don't mind at all.

Josh's purebred Paint foals are registered with the APHA, and the part-breds with CHAPS. He will be available at stud to a limited number of outside mares in 2010. If you are interested in knowing more about him, please get in touch.

CA Wreckless Rascal has a mixture of reining breeding from his dam's side (QT Poco Streke, the leading sire of APHA reiners from 2000-2005), and impressive halter breeding on his sire's side - Josh's grandsire CR Top Button is well worth a look. Among the notable names in his pedigree is Windeck, the incredibly versatile stallion who was an APHA Champion and Grand Champion halter horse with points in Hunter Under Saddle (ROM), Halter, Western Pleasure, Barrel Racing, and Pole Bending classes.
