Events Diary

We are based primarily in the East Midlands and Yorkshire. We don't have a specific (showground) base, as the club originated through people with common interest rather than common location, so we currently cover Leicester, Nottingham, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and Yorkshire. People from other places are very welcome, but may find that some events are a bit far flung.

We try to spread the events around at suitable venues, so that hopefully there is something close to everyone SOME of the time. We have so far held events in all the above counties, and we are part of Riding Clubs Area 16. We are always open to suggestions if you know of a good place to hold any kind of event!

NEW! 18 May	Use your Intelligence Horse and Rider day Small group tutorials, demonstrations and practical workshops on training techniques, Bowen therapy, feeding and intelligent horsemanship with a variety of equine practitioners. 25 May	BRC MEMBERS ONLY BRC Area 16 Training Day NB: same date as Dukeries BHS TREC. 30 May - 1 June	Round Leicestershire Ride Come and spend 3 days with your horse riding the western boundary of Leicestershire on bridleways, byways and country lanes in superb countryside.	Various - route is from Kings Mills, Castle Donington to Bitteswell via Moira and Ratcliffe Culey	See flyer for details	15-18 miles per day (total 54 miles) in guided groups of 4-5 matched for pace and riding ability. 29 June	Epperstone BHS TREC Competition Levels 1 and 2	Epperstone, Nottinghamshire	Schedule will be out approximately 2 months before the event.
15-17 August	BHS TREC Championships of Great Britain Hosted by White Horse TREC Group Levels 2, 3 and 4	Bakewell, Derbyshire	More details to follow nearer the event.	This year WHTG has agreed to host this prestigious event. Make a note in your diary - we really want to see lots of WHTG members competing or helping as it is on our doorstep!
30/31 August	Derbyshire Dales BHS TREC Competition Levels 2 and 3	Bradbourne, Derbyshire	Schedule will be out approximately 2 months before the event.
